The answer is BÜTCHER, and BÜTCHER is about one thing only: to define Metal in any way the band sees fit.
Metal in the sense of the absolute riffing madness that ruled both the airwaves and the underground tapetrading scene during the late 70’s, through the genre-defining 80’s, and into the early 90’s. BÜTCHER’s unique blend of metal music is certainly rooted in German and US speed and thrash metal, but owes equally to hardrock, NWOBHM, South-American and Australian black/thrash and the Scandinavian metal cult.
The band’s musical integrity stems from the conviction of crafting their wide array of influences into a premise of their own. These maniacs thrive on the combination of the musical and artistical significances we have come to adore, and they deliver it in a furious frenzy. All material is brewed in a cauldron of analog and vintage recording and live gear and is an acquired taste in these modern times, but served in a relevant manner it is presented to a legion of metal maniacs that have an affection for what makes the older eras of heavy music so magical in the first place.
Yet above all, BÜTCHER pledges to bring the most energetic live show one can give, and that sparks a fire in the audience. A fire that has often engulfed into a consuming blaze of metal mania on stages across Europe.
