DIABLATION

BIOGRAPHY

ENGLISH

Diablation is, by definition, the act of becoming the Devil, the inexorable fall of man into the depths of Hell, absolute darkness symbolized by a nihilistic black metal.

From the ashes of several French formations present since the 1990s was born Diablation, an hermetic entity proving once again that the French Black Metal scene is at its peak. The debut album, “Allégeance”, released by Antiq Label in a strict limited edition only, sets the tone, according to Metallian: “Majestic, epic and of a rare violence, the dark, hateful and unhealthy musical universe of Diablation will guide you through the depths of hell and the Vampyr’s French incantations will sound the death knell. A real gem.“. Others called the first opus a “masterpiece of etheric knowledge and idyllic suffering.” (Hard Force).

Grandiloquent, dramatic, violent, the music of VOA depicts with precision and darkness the various apocalyptic scenes told with verve and proclaimed by Vicomte Vampyr Arkames, giving substance to rich, majestic and heavy texts.
Strengthened by the arrival of Maximilien B. (Bâ’a) on bass and IX on drums, the group offers hard-hitting and infernal music, paying allegiance to the one that worries, torments and rubs shoulders with man from the beginning: Death.

In 2022, Diablation signs with the reference of Black Metal, Osmose Productions, undoubtedly the most imposing and cult label of the style, and unveils its album, soberly titled “Par le Feu”.
“Rarely has a group given me the feeling of coming so close to the authentic and profound allegory of absolute Evil. I hold my rare pearl, for all these years I had been lost.” (Soil Chronicles, January 2022)

In 2024, Diablation released “Irreverence”, a powerful, authentic, genuine and already cult album for some, the final nail in the coffin being the independent release of the video single “Millénariste”.

“The purpose of their revolution carries within it the spark of extinction. Abominable actors of the burial of the genius of man, I curse you! May you join the bones of my ancestors; a slow, eternal death would suit you all the better.”

With these words, Diablation’s existence comes to an end, leaving an indelible mark on the French Black Metal scene.

“Irreverence” serves as a symbol of counter-revolution against modernism and liberalism, advocating for the restoration of His Reign. May it guide us until our last breath!

“Diablation died. A legend is born.” (France Metal Museum, November 2024)

FRANCAIS

“Diablation meurt. Une légende naît.” (France Metal Museum, Novembre 2024)
