Hammerfilosofi is a Norwegian band formed by Noktifer in 2022, carving their own niche in the black metal scene with a sound that reflects both modern intensity and classic influences.
Their music blends atmospheric black metal with strikingly deep, somber undertones, alternated with bestial aggression, creating a unique auditory landscape that resonates with fans of darker and more introspective yet overwhelming music.

In 2024, Hammerfilosofi followed up with the release of Solus, an EP that further explored the band’s somber style.
Notably, the lyrics for Solus were written by the legendary Rune Vedaa, frontman of the iconic Norwegian black metal band Forgotten Woods.
Released under the label Aeternitas Tenebrarum Musicae Fundamentum, both the album and EP have contributed to Hammerfilosofi’s growing reputation.
The band is now ready to unleash the second full length opus “Signum”. Artwork is managed by the rising star of the underground illustrator Manuel Scapinello, while the final mastering was performed by Endarker Studio, run by Magnus Devo Andersson (Marduk).
