Compared to the sheer brutality of ‘Angrep’, ‘I utakt med verden’ is quite the opposite.
If Angrep was the war, ‘I utakt med verden’ is conceptually the time after a lost one, where we lick our wounds and count our dead.
Slowed down.

– This is definitely the darkest album by Gjendød. Most of the songs are in a mid- to slow tempo, and there is a cloud of sadness hanging above it all. There are also a lot more experimenting with other kinds of instruments which adds a different kind of mood.
