What makes them – and the whole album – stand above the rest is the very tasteful and effective use that is made of them. Their different voices and grades of presence make a strong contribution to the different moods and atmospheres to be found in each of the lengthy songs (the shortest one is around 7 minutes long). They also imitate the sounds of traditional instruments that come in every now and then (one of the band’s trademarks), and the result is very realistic.
This album is one of a kind. It’s original, raw, melodic, atmospheric, immense in its symphonic scope and immediate in its enthralling charisma. Essential.
